 In New York Tuesday at age 89, the American actress Lauren Bacall deceased. The American succumbed to a massive stroke.

   Bacall, came into the world on September 16, 1924 as Betty Joan Perske, actually started out as a model, but was quickly discovered as an actress.

She was only nineteen when she alongside Humphrey Bogart in To Have and Have Not (1944)
