GRONINGEN – A man (32) Sunday in the Stationsstraat Groningen shot in the leg by a police action. The man wanted according to a police spokesman put an end to his life. The alerted officers found the man around thirty and saw that he had a weapon.
So the residents of the surrounding homes were about 20 people, put their safety to the police station and collected there . Then tried to get a negotiator contact with the man. But it was in vain.
A SWAT team
was then deployed and decided to proceed to a raid, the spokesman said. During the raid, the man was hit in the leg. 
The man of the house is done extensive trace evidence. The residents of the neighboring houses are now back home.
