Van Warmerdam film goes to Locarno – Telegraaf.nl

The Dutch film Schneider vs. Bax by director Alex van Warmerdam has been selected for the 68th edition of the Locarno International Film Festival.

The film in the main competition and it competes with the Golden Leopard, the prices of Locarno. That’s distributor Cineart Wednesday. The festival is from 5 to August 15.

Schneider vs. Bax tells about an assassin who gets the order to disable a writer who lives in the middle of the cane fields. It is not such a simple task as it might seem at first.

Schneider vs Bax is the ninth film by director-screenwriter Van Warmerdam . The leading roles are played by Tom Dewispelaere , Van Warmerdam and M aria Kraakman . In supporting roles are Annet Malherbe , Pierre Bokma , Loes Haverkort and Eva van de Wijdeven to see.

The film revolves since late May in the Dutch arthouse cinemas and draws full houses there
