“It was a bucket list-thing that I wanted to check off,” said Emperor talking to Lex Gaarthuis at 100% NL
The singer toured with his solo show I & amp.; Simon by several theaters in the Netherlands. His colleague Nick Painter did not go; Emperor wanted to check it out on his own.
“But it took me a lot of energy. I’m sure I’m going to do this again,” Emperor now says of his temporary solo career. “It was not that I Nick missed something, but I thought it was more intense than expected.”
The singer says “having told all” what
he wanted to tell. “And that’s good, but seven shows, and then I’m with it really ready.”
