The Dutch children’s jury has audience prizes in the age groups from 6 to 9 years in the class of 10 to 12 years. Myjer, which was nominated for the first time, won the prize in the first category.
Menten received the award in the category for the older children. In the past, all six of her books were nominated for this award.
“Morbid pride,” the comedian wrote on Twitter about the price for his first children’s book. “What an honor.”
Children’s Parade
The award for children’s books was awarded for the third consecutive year in the Hague Children’s Museum. This happened during the Festival Children’s Parade, held in and around the museum.
A total of more than 24,500 votes were cast for the nominated titles. Senate
handed the Dutch Children, in addition to public prices, also its own price in the two age groups. The Plume of the Senate was in the category of the youngest children to Bone Janneke Shot Field. In the class of 10 to 12 years the price for was the gruesome General Joshua Douglas
