Legendary Pictures and The Pokemon Co. Wednesday brought out that they will launch the first live action Pokémon movie, reports The Hollywood Reporter .
The new film is about Detective Pikachu, a new character in the Pokémon universe.
The rumors about a new Pokemon -film went longer. Several film companies were interested to be able to make the film. Legendary Pictures’d already been in the race to start production, but so far there was never closed a deal.
Pokemon Go
popularity of the mobile app Pokemon Go has led to the making of this film. The production will begin in 2017.
The first Pokémon movie, Pokemon: The First
Movie – Mewtwo Strikes Back was brought out in 1998. Since then, nineteen films released, of which there were five cinema releases. Warner Bros. distributed the first three films, respectively 85, 43 and 17 million dollars yielded
