According to the US government North Korea is behind a big hack attack on Sony, but the North Korean government denies. The systems from Sony were attacked end of November. Since then, sensitive information of the company and its employees is leaked.
The reason for the hack seems the controversial film The Interview , in which the murder of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is planned. After several threats of hackers Sony has canceled the film, although, according to US President Barack Obama was a big mistake.
“I wish they [Sony] had first spoken to me,” Obama said Friday at a press conference. I would
recommend the studio have been told that they should not be intimidated, “said Obama.” The idea that a satirical movie with Seth Rogen and James Franco could lead to this kind of action, also says a lot about this regime. “
