“Now the Amsterdam Arena for almost two years had not been a backdrop for major pop concerts you’d almost forgotten how much the soccer temple always sigh under the dramatic acoustics last night. the galmbak claimed another victim. Because pop star Rihanna who had just captured a show full of hollow drumbeats, she echoed her visitors as the evening progressed further and further towards hearing loss. (..) It was clear that Rihanna sat occasionally on a tape with supporting vocals. In sprint pace did the singer in the Arena by its hitmateriaal – From Umbrella to Rude Boy and Man Down to We Found Love – back. For after also visually quite dull show (the ugly white sails gave her stage the allure of a curtain trade) after a half hour to catch the hall light. “

“Rihanna knows how to make an entrance. She herself was in good voice, but unfortunately we could hear her so little. She was frequently drowned out by her band (with hard bass and two solid drummers), or they let it sing to her background singers and the audience. Only at the last three quieter songs we could hear her really well and she showed itself from its most charming side. It was a fast, tight produced whirlwind of a show, but this is also a tad sterile “
