This was Jett Rebel in Ahoy – 3FM – Radio

If you go to a show of Jett Rebel, you can expect much. Extravagant outfits, massive guitar solos, eccentric audience… But an exploding piepschuimpop? That is new.

Jett Rebel was already in Ahoy Rotterdam for North Sea Jazz, but never with their own show. Until Saturday 4 February so, because when it was fi-na-lly so far. After months of preparing was Jett finally on that huge stage.

Prior to the show ran Giel with Jett by backstage for an interview. Check that images and photos of the concert below!

Jett Rebel On Stage

The plan was to make a show of four hours to play, but it was eventually not: the compulsory end time is 23:00 hours, so that the public is still normal with the public TRANSPORT to go home. It is Jett managed to get the setlist so that it is also within an hour or less. According to him, is it really a show for the fans that everything is on track.

“On the last albums is not a monsterhit, so a lot of people will, some tracks do not know. It really is a show for the hardcore fans.”

There is liquor in his dressing room, but Jett does nothing. Even after the expiry of his Ahoy-show.

“I already have eight months not a sip more. I would have a beer lust tonight, but a year aftikken is also tempting!”

The whole conversation of Giel with Jett Rebel (including piepschuimpop) see you back here.

3.5 hours long to make bubbles

The Ahoy was sold out, but that did Jett. He gave the full 200 percent, and provided for matching outfits also. 3FM there Chelsea was there and tells what she thinks of it:

“Between all the bubbles blowing hipsters, there was everything, in terms of audience. And everything and everyone was enjoying the same. Jett exchanged at each picture of outfit, outspoken and colour or to match with the album. A show of 3.5 hours, he does easy, and it actually means that the audience is the only one thing was missing lose and the metallic mass of the floor. The new album – Superpop – took some getting used to for the enormously varied audience, but they took it all, because Jett remains the stoneware.”
