This is a record for a film Nijenhuis made distributor Entertainment one Thursday.

His previous film, Tuscan Wedding, have attracted more women during the ladies Night. But these 49,000 visitors watched the film in previews which were spread over several days.

Rokjesdag takes place on the first day of spring in which many women wear again for the first summer clothing. The film follows many characters who are looking for love, including during a large cooking workshop for singles. The leading roles are played by Lieke van Lexmond, Birgit Schuurman, Loek Peters, Carly Wise, Anne-Marie Jung, Jim Bakkum, Barbara Sloesen and Martijn Fischer.

The director Johan Nijenhuis was already a great over the last fifteen years several highly successful romantic comedies such as Tuscan Wedding, Fall in love with Ibiza, Full Moon and Costa !. Currently he is working on a romkom which takes place during Carnival
