The heroin was found on July 28 when a control using a tracking dog. The drugs were hidden in a cargo of paint and putty products from Iran. Iranian truck was bound for a company in the western harbor area.
Due arrested three men with the find. It is a 57-year-old man with no fixed or residence, a 49-year-old man from Apeldoorn and a 25-year-old man from Leiden. The cargo was confiscated and destroyed. The FIOD is headed by the District Prosecutor Amsterdam launched a criminal investigation.
