One of the highlights of the Prinsengracht Canal Festival is on August 20. This time there is an intervention by the Swedish mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg. This concert each year attracts thousands of spectators and along the canal as well as hundreds of thousands of viewers to the live recording on TV.

The Canal Festival attracts more than 54,000 visitors annually. The concerts are held in parks, museums, churches, roof terraces and on stages in the canals. There are also performances at Fort Island Pampus, the Lighthouse Island and in the A’DAM Tower
