Next Generation
With the proceeds of the 3FM Serious Request 2015, the Red Cross already this year more than 10,000 young people in conflict zones in Syria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), South Sudan and Afghanistan helped. Young people in war and conflict zones should be under the most extreme conditions to survive. The Red Cross provides shelter, medical care and nutrition, and give these silent victims of war and conflict the opportunity to develop themselves and to build their future, for themselves and for the country in which they live.

Today, they hear from young people in the Congo and Syria what difference their actions have made in the dreams of the next generation.
First results
throughout the country came to neighbourhood children, groups of friends, schools, associations and companies
in action for 3FM Serious Request 2015. The action has finally €8.671.288 applied. This yield makes the Red Cross a substantial difference in the future of young people in conflict zones:
- In total, it provided Red Cross assistance to nearly 90,000 people in areas of conflict, including more than 10,000 young people
- more than 14,000 families received assistance for their income to be able to provide, thanks to 34.000 pieces of agricultural material in the DRC and South-Sudan
- 64 people followed a landbouwtraining and 120 people received a start-up capital
- In various countries, such as Syria and the DRC, dozens of young people enrolled in vocational training. In the coming years many more will follow
- more than 1800 young people with disabilities in Afghanistan received physical therapy, a wheelchair, kunstarmen or -legs
- The Red Cross will soon be two new psychological centers in Syria, where thousands of young people psychosocial support, education and care will get
- In Afghanistan, DRC and South Sudan have finally some 18,000 people, including thousands of young people, noodhulpgoederen receive such as food, medical assistance, and household goods

The Red Cross is expected with the entire proceeds over the next two years at least to 14,000 young people in areas of conflict aims to support, inter alia, psychosocial assistance, start-up capital and materials, training or training. 3FM Serious Request 2016
3FM Serious Request 2016 want to 3FM and the Red Cross to fight against pneumonia, to the survival of many young children in developing countries such as côte d’ivoire, Ethiopia, and Sudan to increase, so they are given a fair chance to grow and develop.
