A man who was seriously injured in a fire in a cellar in a flat in Roermond is deceased from his injuries. The man was taken from a shed that was blue with smoke. He was taken to hospital where he died, probably because he had been in too much smoke

The fire in the flat at the Olieslagerstraat five other people were injured. Four of them had inhaled smoke and had to be checked. A fifth person had his or her sprained ankle during the evacuation of homes. Because of the smoke were 71 people on the first two floors of their house.
