AMSTERDAM – Actor Frank Lammers from Mierlo has been nominated for a Golden Calf. Lammers starred in Michiel de Ruyter, the film about the famous Dutch naval hero of the Eindhoven director Roel Reine.
In the television program The World Keeps Turning became Tuesday the nominations for the Golden Calves 2015. Martijn Fischer (Blood, Sweat and Tears), Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen (Boy 7), Bart Slegers (Gluckauf) and Vincent van der Valk (Gluckauf) are also nominated in the Best Actor category.
More than half a million people saw Michiel de Ruyter in the cinema. There turned two versions of the film. One was for twelve years and older and the other version for sixteen years and older.
