The Dutch Public Broadcasting has selected the programs, the NPO Submit for the International Emmy Awards

Fourteen television programs are sent in nine categories

. These include the drama Fighter Heart, documentary MH17: the sorrow of the Netherlands, the TV movie Aanmodderfakker, journalistic itinerary Our man in Tehran, the magic program Mindf * ck and youth Medic Corrie Show

Whether the programs actually go compete appears only in October. Then announced the nominations at the international TV trade fair in Cannes. The Emmys will be presented in November in New York. It is the main international TV awards. Last year, Maarten Heijmans won an Emmy for his role in Ramses
