The color red is back next year as a key element reduced, when the tenth edition of the concert Symphonica in Rosso which is Simply Red. This told Marco Borsato Thursday in RTL Late Night. “The color red is the recent years what to the background printed, and was not always so prominent, but red is going to be important again during the next edition,” said Marco.
Thursday night gave frontman Mick Hucknall (56) Simply Red a foretaste of the concert in RTL Late Night. He sang the hits Something Got Me Started, and Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye. “I was going to enter my sixtieth,” said Mick. “I have performed for the thirtieth anniversary of Simply Red and was actually planning to have that again on my sixtieth birthday, to repeat it.”
Mick keeps good memories of performing with a symphony orchestra. “I performed with the London Symphony Orchestra. That was great, that magic of the sound. If you then have the opportunity to be with Symphonica in Rosso again with a symphony orchestra to join, you say no. I do it only because of the orchestra.”
Mick Hucknall emphasized that Symphonica in Rosso next year, his only public appearance. He not only wants hits to sing and perform in the Ziggo Dome, but also songs from the oeuvre of Simply Red that match well with the orchestra. “I’m also planning a number of songs from Sinatra to play.”
