When gallery owner Michiel van Eyck Monday afternoon at his house came, he was besieged in his own words. Bystanders came redress on the signs. They thought that Van Eyck had hung their own.
The union wants the studio closed by Amsterdam Mayor Eberhard van der Laan and announced Saturday will do everything to return. The AFVN also demanded confiscation of the book.

The book is exhibited in the gallery from an inheritance and probably for decades owned by Amsterdam’s family who sold it to Van Eyck.
The edition features silver fittings and contains a handwritten message from Hitler who did the book during the Christmas 1939 possibly as a promotional gift to a regional leader of the NSDAP.
Last year Antiquarian was embroiled in a lawsuit over the sale of copies of Mein Kampf . October is about the appeal that the prosecution noted. Van Eyck did not want to sell this one, but only to exhibit
