Actor Kirk Cameron was twice hit. The movie Saving Christmas won Saturday (local time) the Golden Raspberry for worst movie of the year. Cameron himself was at the gala in Los Angeles named worst actor. The film struck a total of four of its six nominations.
Cameron Diaz played the jury dramatically bad roles in the films Sex Tape and The Other Woman.
The movie Transformers: Age of Extinction was nominated seven times more often. Still got the film from director Michael Bay only Raspberries for worst director and worst supporting actor.
Actress Megan Fox received a Razzie for her supporting role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The musical film Annie was named worst remake. Also in that movie Cameron Diaz plays a major role.
The Razzies are golden statuettes in the shape of a raspberry, a satirical counterpart of the Oscars. They are traditionally handed out the evening before the prestigious Oscars. The gala was held this year for the 35th time.
