Patricia Arquette Oscar Speech used to advocate for equal rights for … – The News


                 Patricia Arquette, the actress who got the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in Boyhood, also said during her acceptance speech, an impassioned speech for more women’s rights.
             


         

Arquette started her speech like all other words of thanks Oscar Winners: she thanked her family and everyone who was involved in the film Boyhood. She thanked also “every woman who has ever had a child, and she threw a different approach and it had about women: We have fought for everybody else’s equal rights, it’s our time to have wage equality once and for all , and equal rights for women in the United States of America. The speech was received with loud applause. Include actress Meryl Streep, who like Arquette was nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and actress and singer Jennifer Lopez could not hide their enthusiasm about the speech.

Also on Twitter, the speech was received from Arquette much support.
