Hefty penalties for the much talked liquidation in Amsterdam Staatsliedenbuurt: Anouar B. (34) and Adil A. (26) get life. The men shot dead two men in December 2012, target Benaouf A. escaped.
The judgments of the district court in Amsterdam correspond to the demand of the Public Prosecutor.
After the shooting on 29 December in the Schaepmanstraat was soon talk of ‘wild west scenes’. “These shootings deserves qualifying wild west,” said Mayor Eberhard van der Laan (PvdA).
Liquidation
B. A. and shot the 28-year-old Youssef Lkhorf and the 21-year-old Said el Yazidi death, and the intended target Benaouf A. escaped. Benaouf A. survived by jumping between the houseboats in the water. He is now himself been sentenced to ten years in prison for involvement in other liquidation, which Najeb Bouhbouh in Antwerp.
The settlement in Antwerp is considered the murder that has initiated the series liquidations in the underworld put. The violent incident in the Staats, was a response to that murder.
