Deadline describes the series as an epic biblical saga about faith, ambition and betrayal, told through the eyes of an exhausted King, hateful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd.

On the website of casting agency Kemna says Talpe: “. The series is based on the biblical story of David and Goliath and the fighting between Israel and the Philistines. I play Eliab the older brother of David. He is an officer in the army of Saul and is a very dedicated soldier. Not a very antithesis of David, but lots they seem not even to each other. “

Talpe is currently shooting in South Africa. “It is summer here, so I do miss the cold winter. But it is here enormously big and well cared for. The landscape and the decor is amazing course and it looks too crazy out. It is truly an amazing experience.”
