“This is really amazing,” said the actor in a short film through Twitter was shared by his foundation, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to Parkinson’s disease.
Fox got the shoes sent by Tinker Hatfield, the designer of the original film shoe. In an attached letter Hatfield said that there will be a limited edition of the new self-trapping shoe on the market in the spring of 2016. The proceeds of the sales go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
Wednesday was celebrated by film fans as Back To The Future Day , because Michael’s character Marty in the second part of the film series from 1989 to 2015 travels and arrives on October 21
