Mansveld Minister (Infrastructure and Environment) today signed at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) with eight festival organizations a Green Deal which waste separation and recycling boost. From next season, the festival will include plastic disposable cups replace hard cups that are reused, and there are more separate bins.

Mansveld received when signing DJ Joris Voorn a Wastewater Board ; a skateboard made of caps of PET bottles which are collected at festivals. This Wastewater Board is soon in limited edition on sale through the new platform Pluk.nl. Then each month will be placed a number of offers of products or services that are remarkably durable.

    Municipalities start pilot collection
   
2016 municipalities start with pilot projects for the collection of small PET bottles and cans through reward and / or return premium systems. Municipalities wishing to organize pilots can sign it until 15 November. The pilots are focused on the prevention and removal of litter, promoting waste separation and closing cycles.
