Anton Corbijn has a two-hour concert film directed by Depeche Mode . The film Live in Berlin are included in the German capital late last year. The DVD and live album of the same name appears on November 17
.
The film was recorded during two concerts in Berlin in November during the tour Delta Machine. The Dutch photographer, who works with the British band for years, directed a film about the German performances, Alive in Berlin. The DVD contains behind-the-scenes, interviews and an acoustic session filmed at Salon Bel Ami, the oldest hotel in Berlin.
“Berlin has a special place in the heart of Depeche Mode,” says Corbijn about the project to the American music magazine Billboard. “Depeche Mode has many loyal fans in the German capital, and the film tries to capture the highlights of these concerts but also the special relationship with the fans through interviews.”
Corbijn previously directed several video clips and photographed the band several times
