Locke has to be seen – Tubantia

REVIEW – With actor Tom Hardy in car from Birmingham to London. More you do not see “Locke”. You do not. For director Steven Knight thus making a fantastic movie.

Fragile

In the tight half hour that “Locke” by Steven Knight takes, is about concrete. Even that concrete appears to have engaged in ‘Locke’ does beautifully as a metaphor. Fragile side One small mistake in the composition or during pouring and everything you put on the foundation, dozens of levels or say a marriage is danger of collapse.

Important decision

As superintendent Ivan Locke on the eve of the largest construction project in Europe, his work boots pull raps and gets into his BMW, it has taken an important decision. What that decision is being gradually clear when he puts on the highway from Birmingham heading to London and several phone performs with his wife, his sons and his colleagues.

Tom Hardy in ‘Locke’ nothing to hide. behind No suit and not disturbed psyche. He is the only one in the picture and is amply away with it. Even if you see nothing but him behind the wheel, sometimes only in a wider shot of the lit lanterns highway, it is not a boring moment.

No action

The sweater with checkered shirt, and the Welsh accent Hardy rid of all sex appeal. There is no action scene in the movie. But with his game and the human drama that unfolds slowly through the hands-free kit is “Locke” one of the most exciting and original productions of 2014
