Boom Publishers Amsterdam has taken Academic Service of SDU Publishers. The two parties announced today without mentioning financial details.
Academic Service has built a reputable fund in almost thirty years of existence of management, ICT and textbooks. With the sale of Academic Service wants the SDU group focus more on legal and tax issues. The acquisition strengthens both Academic and Boom their position in the field of information to students, professionals and managers.
Boom publishers Amsterdam is part of Royal Boom Publishers, a family company with over 350 employees that exists 174 years. Also Tree Nelissen (management books), Tree Lemma (textbooks) and Boom Publishers (philosophy, history, psychology, psychiatry, mental health) are part of the publishing group.
