The 18th edition of the Pink Film Days Amsterdam has more than 8,300 visitors drawn. Which is five percent more than last year, reports the organization.
According to the organization, the festival received not only film fans from the Netherlands, but also guests from Australia, South Korea and the United States. The films were better traveled in spite of the fact that there is less cinema halls were available. The MC Theater in Westergasterrein could not be used this year.
During the film days, which took place from 12 to 22 March, 110 films from forty countries were shown. Dutch documentary Over the Rainbow by director Tara Fallaux was both the jury and the audience named best documentary.
