Liberation Almere definitively canceled – Assen it started – nrc.nl

After repeatedly being postponed the liberation in Almere tonight eventually canceled altogether. Because of the strong wind, the “irresponsible public and artists to admit” to the festival site, which is situated right next to the water. This was reported by the organization via Twitter tonight.

The festival was originally planned to start already 12:00, but the strong wind and heavy rain, which was postponed several times. Then also at 19.00 begin not proved feasible, the organizers decided to cancel the event altogether. The festivities in the rest of the center or just go on.

Also in Assen the liberation experienced a difficult start today. The afternoon event was postponed on two occasions due to the bad weather but could still start around 15.30.
