In addition protagonist Judah Goslinga won the award for best actor, as announced the festival.
The organization has all award winners announced prior to the festival, which takes place between 16th and October 19th.
Cornea will be screened on October 19 as the closing film of the festival, which presents a selection of independently produced short and feature films from all over the world. It is intended that Jochem de Vries and Judah Goslinga will be present at the screening in Tuscany to take their prizes in person.
Despair
Cornea is about the desperate love of the 40-year-old Thomas (Goslinga) for his ex-wife Marie (Lodeizen). When they split up after a relationship of 17 years, Thomas remains of Marie’s life closely. He spies on her and come to her home without their noticing anything here. Even if Thomas gets a new girlfriend (Wendell Jaspers), a life without Marie seems to him no future any more.
Cornea experienced last year its world premiere at the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht.
