© AD. why Farmer Wants a Wife remains a great program. With nearly 13 million other Dutch people might think or claim, even on the letters page of this newspaper. In no other program the emotions are so pure and real. People in love – really love people – never bored. Me in any event.
You must be of stone, you would not sweep a tear away tonight in the declaration of love from Jan to Rianne. And actually that was not even so much by what the sheep farmer said, but by the look in his eyes. And the emotion in hers. Two men who had already suffered a lot of pain through love and now recognized something together which they, no matter how young, hoping perhaps already had given up a bit.
Beautiful. I was very sorry for Marieke. From the very beginning it was my favorite for Jan. But he and those long, that’s right just, I saw tonight. It means something like a farmer suddenly forgets his animals and seeing only two blue eyes. Well brilliantly how Marieke it picked.
