The ancient two-seater propeller plane had engine problems, evidenced by recordings of air traffic control. A witness said he heard sputtering and then the unit did take a nosedive the engine of the plane. The 72-year-old Ford would have been injured during the emergency landing on his head.
Bystanders have to remove the pilot from the plane quickly know, because they were afraid it would catch fire. The authorities would not confirm that it is Ford, but were able to report that the driver is out of danger. According to the witness, the pilot had a deep cut on his face.
