Daniel Craig underwent knee surgery in New York, 3,000 miles away from the set of the new James Bond film in Mexico.
According to the British newspaper the Mirror actor got all injured while running an action scene in the Austrian Alps. Five days later, the injury got worse during a fight scene in the British Pinewood Studios. On the set in Mexico Craig concluded that his knee needed medical treatment.
According to Mirror decided the actor to his hometown of New York to fly for a medical examination. The protagonist therefore misses some shooting days of the costly production. Mirror reports that the operation was carried out last week. Craig was seen right away overnight Monday when he left the hospital.
