Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer died in car accident – AD.nl

Drummer Robert Lewis Burns Jr. died. The 64-year-old American was one of the original members of the band Lynyrd Skynyrd. Burns today flew according to Associated Press his car off the road and died at that unilateral accident.



Burns sat from 1964 to 1974 in the southern rock band. Lynyrd Skynyrd became known for the hits Sweet Home Alabama and Free Bird.

Three other members of the band, including songwriter and co-founder Ronnie Van Zant, came in 1977 in a plane crash killed.
