The suspended rector of the 4th Gymnasium in Amsterdam has admitted to a meeting for parents through a letter that he home on his computer downloaded child pornography.
The letter was read to the parents, reports newspaper Het Parool. The rector writes the following: “. I realize that I acted culpably and immoral I wishes to stress that I never something dishonorable with a child or young person did not within or outside the school I’ve never looked..”
Students not harmed
The Rector writes that the knowledge that he has caused the school with his private behavior reputational damage is one of the most serious consequences.
The lawyer of the rector was at the meeting to answer questions from parents. “I want to emphasize that there is no indication that client has harmed in any way pupils. This is also confirmed by law enforcement.”
