The Passion artists angrily to media law – Telegraaf.nl

Jim de Groot and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge find it unfair that they the songs they sang during the Passion itself can not deliver. Koningsbrugge now taking matters into their own hands

.

Jeroen van Koningsbrugge received permission from composer John Ewbank to treading the song, but because the numbers have been effected by tax money he is not allowed to re-release the song. Jeroen has now decided to do battle with the Media Act, let him know on Twitter.

From Koningsbrugge can thus count on the support of Marco Borsato , which is the number White Light originally released. “My bless you friend! I’ll buy the first!” Said Marco in a comment. Ewbank also gave to experience the situation as a “limitation of his creative freedom” and not to shy away from a lawsuit.

Jim de Groot , which is the role of Jesus performed, expressed his dissatisfaction with the Media Act versus RTL . The artist then wanted to launch an EP with three original songs and three songs from The Passion. Of broadcasting he got permission. “But it was not, because those arrangements and recordings were made with public money.”

The son of Boudewijn de Groot offered to re-record the songs. “But that should not be, because every reference on my CD to The Passion is already prohibited by the law on the media.” He did not know what hit him. “Do I have to be furious or is it just too funny to be true, it is utter idiot?”.
