At the book festival Manuscripta traditional opening of the literary season in early September this year will include the Israeli writer Nir Baram and see the German writer Jenny Erpenbeck and be heard.
That made organizer CPNB known.
Erpenbeck won last week the European Literature Prize for her novel A handful of snow . Nir Barams Good People was elected in 2013 as one of the fifty best books of the past five years.
The English writers Mohammed Benzakour, Michel van Egmond and Kristien Hemmerechts will present on Manuscripta.
Manuscripta found on Saturday, September 5th place at the City Festival Zwolle and to the public free of charge. The authors are interviewed at venues in and around the center of Zwolle, in the Municipal Theatre Odeon, Waanders Publishers and Bookstore Westerhof, Town Room and Rodetorenplein. More names will be announced later and the full program from August 1 online www.manuscripta.nl
