RENSWOUDE The student and beginners orchestra of harmony society Our Pleasure in Renswoude gifts along with elementary school students on June 26 for a full house the children Evening Concert. The 42 students in group three of the pin and Horst The Borgwal got the last weeks of music lessons teachers Our Pleasure.
The concert was opened by the beginners and student orchestra, led by Harry Weijkamp. The orchestras consist of aspiring musicians Caecila Scherpenzeel and Renswoude Our Pleasure. The music teachers Kirsten and Maaike then told the parents what the children have learned in recent weeks.
The musical knowledge of children was tested with a cheerful music quiz. Turned out the girls just to know something more than the boys. The elementary school students from the Borgwal occurred below, and demonstrated and hear how to make music with a comb and a cigarette paper. The students of the Stift Horst then gave a performance with Boomwhackers. These are colored plastic tubes that produce different tones when you hit with it.
The concert was officially closed by the orchestra with the Baker Street March. The orchestra was conducted by this time some children from group 3. Their classmates accompanied the orchestra with bicycle bells.
