“If I’m awake in the morning, so I’m going to miss the Four Days!” Dionne said her finish, which was seen live on the air at NPO 2. They seemed as energetic as ever, but secretly she does best pain. “It’s going be okay, but I am also very tired.”
Rain
The last day of the walking event started pouring rain. Very different from the sunny days for this. “Day 1 to 3 was just sweating, I was one big block of salt,” Dionne laughed. “Day 4 was: poncho, poncho off.”
Heat
A little earlier on the route Dionne already spoke with reporter Ardy Stemerding. She admitted that it was her toughest Four ever. “I’m not that fast, but I’ve been running it now for the eighth time and I think I this year I had the most trouble. I can quite to heat.”
Age
Today Dionne took extra breaks. “I sometimes had to really sit down. I thought it was because I have not trained enough, but then I heard from a fellow hiker that maybe it is about my age.
