Jansen is an internationally renowned solo violinist and is considered the best of her generation. She has spent the past 13 years fulfilled the artistic leadership of the International Chamber Music Festival in Utrecht.
In addition, she has sought to turn the cultural sector in Utrecht on the map internationally.
Apart her work at the International chamber Music Festival, Jansen in numerous major music groups played on local, national and international level. “That has shaped her into an icon of classical music for our city,” said the Diepeveen.
