There will be a new season of Making a Murderer on Netflix. Reported that the service on their website. The creators of the series left already hinted that there was coming a second season. The first season of the documentary was very popular, but there was also much criticism of the series. The second season is about the continuation of the lawsuits against Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey.
After filming the first season there have been many claims in the lawsuits. The new season takes a look at the legal battle of the new Avery attorney, Kathleen Zellner. The documentary is about Avery 18 years was unjustly in prison and two years later he was accused of a heinous murder, after he received a life sentence. The documentary raised many questions about the guilt of Avery and the American legal system in general. Many believe in the innocence of Avery and half a million people signed a petition to release him.
There was also criticism of the makers of the documentary. The prosecutor in the murder Kenneth Kratz found that the documentary makers important evidence had been omitted.
