Director North Sea Jazz speaks of ‘great edition’ – NU.nl

However, the director does not plan to seek a larger location to receive more public. “We adhere to the current capacity,” he said. “That fits in perfectly with the design we have.”

Several artists referenced during the event to the events in the US city of Dallas. “Music is the best vehicle for this kind of thing,” concluded the director. “Music is the language that transcends everything.”

Visitors to the 41st edition of the jazz festival could choose this year from more than 1,300 artists and 150 performances. At the different stages among others were Diana Krall, Pharrell Williams, Drifter and James Blake
