The popularity of the mobile app Pokemon Go and the accompanying exhibition rise Nintendo (+25 percent) have led to it, reports Deadline . It would be a live action movie. Further details are as yet unknown.
The rumors about a new Pokemon -film went longer. Several film companies were interested to be able to make the film. Legendary Pictures’d already been in the race to start production, but so far there was never closed a deal.
Screenwriter Max Landis (known from his work on the science fiction hit Chronicle ) is said to be able to write the film.
