The two shows of U2, next year in Amsterdam Ziggo Dome, are sold out. Ticket sales went this morning at 10:00 CET. Around 10:30 pm all tickets booked, said a spokesman for Mojo Concerts.
Because of the great interest, many people queued up. There was a lot on Twitter complained about. “Almost two hours in the queue stood tickets for U2, it appears to been sold out,” writes one example.
There were, according to a small Mojo 30,000 tickets available for the concert at 8 and 9 of September. According to the spokesman, the chance that there will be an extra concert. “But the information we have not yet.”
The Irish rock band released in October a new studio album, Songs of Innocence. The accompanying world tour will start on May 14 in Vancouver and ends on November 11 in Paris.
