Bernard Gerrit (Burny) Forest (1944) began as a children’s author and creator of children’s programs on radio and television. Later he was active as a film producer and -scenarist. In 1989 he founded BosBros, with which he is very successful (family) films and television productions make. With Abeltje (1999) and Minoes (2002) he won the Golden Calf for Best Film. Therefore BosBros brings single props as Pluks red crane and Minoes’ briefcase from the archive to the NFF festival hub Tivoli Vredenburg.
