Die Antwoord hard and unforgiving Lowlands – NU.nl

After Snoop Dogg earlier in the afternoon hits through hunting in the Alpha tent (as well as hits by other artists), throws the South African hip-hop group Die Antwoord in the same tent on a completely different tack. After the sing-along party Snoop Doggy Lion Die Antwoord forms a stark contrast.

The stark design, the fluorescent light of the clothes and the microphones, the hyperactive beats of the masked DJ Hi Tek and idiosyncratic stage presence of The Ninja and Yolandi Visser rappersduo bring a completely different atmosphere and less recognition with it than the previous hitpotpourri.

The frail, high voice of Visser has a high irritation factor, though the show around it entertaining enough to see that over the head. Incidentally, that weird voice works particularly well in I Fink U Freeky and Enter The Ninja . Die Antwoord is hard and unforgiving at Lowlands and the change that is quite nice. (PO)

Fink

There are some duplications in the Lowlands Program compared to previous years. Similarly Fink, who, like his previous prefers occur during the morning for its understated music. While that seems like a logical choice, visitors are hardly shaken out of their sleep. However, there are sandwiches publicly smashed.

It is also one of the most memorable moments from the show of singer-songwriter Fin Greenall. There seep sparse electronic elements by a few songs, but the songwriter and his band to the acoustic instruments largely predominate.

In the background is the cover of the new album Hard Believer See, several songs are played. The beauty of the mostly somber songs is undeniable, but Fink knows that does not translate. Towards the right atmosphere Perhaps he should consider later in the day in the future. (PO)

Sohn

It is now almost a tradition at Lowlands that the Bravo tent to welcome. Early in the afternoon, one of the most interesting new acts In recent editions include Alt-J triumphed at that stage and in 2014 Sohn creates a success story.

The English musician brought in April this year until his debut album, but has no qualms about to convince them of his ability. audiences in the Bravo Many of the recently released numbers are now even hailed as big hits.

Despite the somewhat mysterious appearance of the act is actually a small hour feelgood show. Include Artfice provides minutes goosebumps and fairly timid electronic music makes it a perfect act for this time. From Sohn we go anyways hear more this year. (HG)
