Bernard Gerrit (Burny) Forest (1944) began as a children’s author and creator of children’s programs on radio and television. Later he was active as a film producer and -scenarist. In 1989 he founded BosBros, with which he is very successful (family) films and television productions make. With Abeltje (1999) and Minoes (2002) he won the Golden Calf for Best Film.
