 In New York Tuesday at age 89, the American actress Lauren Bacall deceased. The American succumbed to a massive stroke.
 

This is the Bogart- Foundation announced.

Bogart

   Bacall, came into the world on September 16, 1924 as Betty Joan Perske, actually started out as a model, but was quickly discovered as an actress.

She was only nineteen when she alongside Humphrey Bogart in To Have and Have Not (1944) figured. Bogart was 25 years older, but that did not stop Bacall for a year to join. Later with him in marriage They would stay together until 1957 when Bogart died. Bacall would later declare that Bogart was the love of her life. Her later relationships, including with Frank Sinatra, were all not well off.



Femme Fatale

Along with her great love played Bacall still The Big Sleep (1946), Dark Passage (1947) and Key Largo (1948). Through her hoarse voice and stealthy glance was the actress quickly stamped ‘femme fatale’ stuck. In her long and varied career, the American also played other roles.
