The head is off! The musical sensation Dreamgirls is premiered. The Dream Rockettes, it’s all about in Dreamgirls. In the presence of many celebrities, the musical experience on 28 September its premiere at the New Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam.

Effie, Deena and Lorell tell if the story of The Dream Ettes The Surpremes. On Berget Lewis, Pearl Jozefzoon and Aïcha Gill the arduous task to interpret it. Starring A major challenge, since the roles are played by none other than Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce Knowles and Anika Noni Rose in the film. The expectations are high.

The three singers called The Dream Rockettes, want nothing more than to make a name in the music world. As background singers they start with singer Jimmy T Early, played by Clayton Peroti. Manager Curtis, Edwin Jonker, ensures that the Dream Ettes solo activity may occur and the Dreams. When Effie her place as the lead singer must cede to the Deena creates discord. But the trouble really begins when Curtis decides to. Effie from the group
Berget Lewis is her musical debut. And I can only say that she does a fantastic job. Her vocal range is impressive, and her humor timed perfectly. Maybe she can get some work done on her statement because she is not always well understood. With the closing song for the break “I’m not,” she knows how to give you. Towering goosebumps Pearl Josef Son also has a great voice. The timid role of Deena she knows convincingly across. Aïcha Gill, the third Dreamette, is a small, spirited lady who, like the aforementioned ladies have a strong singing voice features and especially as a trio they sound great. Clayton Peroti knows Jimmy get with “Jimmy’s Rap”. Hall to the swinging What a voice and what a look! Edwin Jonker is in terms of vocals in my opinion a little snowed under by all this vocal violence. His role as slick manager he played very convincing, his voice is pleasant to listen to, but just does not compare with those of his colleagues. But his acting makes this more than good.

On the stage is a prominent place for the musicians, they are part of the decor. The show contains catchy songs, but the momentum is taken to show through some scenes of which it is sometimes a bit long-winded. But because of the great costumes and swinging songs will you still swept up in the story. For an evening full of delicious soul music, great voices and an entertaining story, go to Dreamgirls.
