Remco Campert, Arnon Grunberg, Tom Lanoye, Marente de Moor and Peter Terrin are a few of the 24 nominees to win the AKO Literature Prize. This was announced Friday. Guus Kuijer with the second and third parts of the Bible for Unbelievers nominated twice.
Campert is nominated with the book Hotel du Nord, Grunberg with Apocalypse, Lanoye with Happy slaves, De Moor Roundhay, garden scene Terrin and Monte Carlo. The list of tips is the so-called longlist of the AKO Literature Prize, which up to 25 titles. The jury selects six books there. What they are, will be announced September 26. On November 13, is known who is going to get the price.
Last year won Joke van Leeuwen with her book Feast of the Beginning. The winner of the prize for the best book in the Dutch literary fiction and non-fiction gets fifty thousand euros and a sculpture by Eugene Peters
